First class CPD events for the Counselling and Psychotherapy professions
Created and run by BACP Accredited integrative counsellor Maryline Leese, Salisbury CPD aspires to provide first class Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events for counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as professionals working in the fields of psychology, mental health and coaching. Counselling and psychotherapy students are also welcome.
Salisbury CPD's aim is to bring to Salisbury highly regarded and well respected speakers and trainers so practitioners locally can have access to stimulating, exciting, relevant and up-to-date events without the inconvenience and considerable cost of travelling. Of course, practitioners outside the Salisbury area are also very welcome.
Day and half-day training workshops, Masterclasses, seminars and talks are offered to suit every budget and availability, all taking place in carefully selected, comfortable and pleasant venues in Salisbury.
Salisbury CPD's events also provide a vibrant and motivating environment for meeting other professionals, networking, exchange and support.
The continuing development of counsellors and psychotherapists is essential to ensure competence and best practice. It is an ethical requirement that we broaden our knowledge and keep up-to-date with practices and developments in the field of counselling and psychotherapy so that we can be the best we can be with our clients. When we engage in activities that contribute to our personal and professional development, our clients benefit considerably as our work with them is, in turn, enriched by our increased knowledge and search for excellence.
A commitment to personal and professional development also forms an important part of practitioners' self-reflective practice and self-care.
Salisbury CPD aims to offer exciting, challenging and informative events to keep us professionally open and fresh, mentally stimulated and emotionally nourished.
